Where is help when you need it
I admit to being less than professional so that means a little guidance should be in order. I do like the progam and the farther I get into it, the more interesting it becomes. I have been working on something rather important to me and I got through it but not without some hair pulling moments.
A manual of some kind would be great. I can live with it freezing now and then but when I don’t know what a button will do if I push it or Does, Done, mean Done or What is this mask button do and why does it only appear at a certain time. There are two kinds of FX Photo, pro and CK and there is know help for either. I can’t help but feel I have been sold the lessor of the two. You keep selling CK and I just bought Pro how fair is that. Take some time for us less educated and the Gods will thank you. You asume to much. I had to settle instead of getting what I worked so hard for. Just because your app does not cost a fortune should not make it manual free as well. Getting this review to end is worse than writing it. it won’t go away!

The best app!!!
I find this app to be the most helpful in creating new compositions using the photos I have. I also love the ability to see each new shape in various color combinations. It took me a while to see all the different affects I can get and how to use each one. Now I am very pleased with how easy and fun it is to create using this app. I also appreciate the ability to save my work in the same resolution I started with. I had used another app that had always saved my finished work in a smaller size. My only wish is that it would include a choice to animate the photos as well as all the other amazing things that it can do. I have found a different app for that but it does not save the work in high res. FX Photo studio is superb!

I bought this app with an open mind thinking that it could be used to edit photos. Obviously for $8 it isn’t going to be photoshop but I still expected a few good functions from it. The first time I opened up this app it froze when i tried to adjust even the most simple of effects like saturation and brightness. I tried about 100 times after that thinking it was my computer but every single time resulted in a loading screen that eventually crashed the app. THIS APP IS MUCH WORSE THAT EDITING IN IPHOTO. I contacted customer support and they gave me a download to studio pro CK which also crashed then they told me I could not get a refund and it was a problem that their team hasn’t been able to fix. Complete waste of money. I would have rather burned my money in a bonfire than using it to buy this app. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHER GOOD REVIEWS. EVEN IF THIS APP DIDN’T CRASH ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. If you are even thinking about buying this app, go donate your $8 to a homeless shelter where it can actually be put to good use and instead use another software to edit photos.

FX Photo Studio Pro started as an app for iPads and iPhones and was later developed into a full photo editor for Macs. The software provides many creative filters and standard editing tools; however, its capabilities limit you to basic photo editing.
This Mac photo editor has a user-friendly interface, and you can familiarize yourself with the workspace in just minutes. Rather than using dropdown menus to display its tools, they are all easily accessible on the application’s top toolbar. After you select a tool, its options display on the side menu, and you can then adjust the tool by moving the sliders around.
FX Photo Studio Pro has the standard editing tools that most Mac photo editing software offer. You can crop, rotate, adjust colors and add filters to your photos. Using the program’s 170 filters, you can alter the colors and textures of your images. There is also a side-by-side comparison feature, so you can view the original and edited photo next to each other before implementing your edit.
While this software has a deep catalog of filters, it’s missing key editing tools found in the best photo editing software for Macs. The program does not support working in layers, and you cannot add text to your photos. Additionally, the application lacks some basics, such as selection, painting, drawing, shape and makeover tools, as well as more advanced tools like panoramic images, HDR imaging and batch processing. As such, FX Photo Studio Pro serves as an application to apply filters and make basic edits to your photos.
FX Photo Studio Pro doesn’t come with a built-in organizer to help you manage your photos. Instead, you have to rely on your Mac’s Photos application. The software is compatible with six image file formats, including RAW, JPG, TIFF, PNG and PDF. After launching the program, you can select an image to work on by dragging and dropping, loading or opening a recent photo.
If you want to share your photos, you can post images to Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr and Twitter directly from the application. You can also email your photos to your friends and family. Before sharing your images, the software allows you to optimize their resolution.
FX Photo Studio Pro offers some help and support. There is a general blog on the developer’s website that contains interesting information. You can find video tutorials online and access the user guide inside the application. If you need to contact a support representative, you can find phone numbers and an email address on the company’s website.
